The Glowing de Grisogono Tondo by Night - The Life of the Party

One can always rely on de Grisigono to introduce a unique watch with the utmost of elegance and flair. This is actually the first time I have ever seen a watch company add photo-luminescence to the watch case and band, rather than just to the dial.  For me this is actually quite thrilling as I love when innovative watchmaking materials are used.

By day 60 precious gemstones such as purple amethysts, yellow sapphires, green tsavorites, pink sapphires, orange sapphires or white diamonds brighten the timepiece.  de Grisogono signature galuchat watch straps are dyed to perfectly match the gems, watch case and hands.  For this collection, de Grisigono has placed a gemset rotor on the dial side.  The rotor in motion reveals a tad of the de Grisigono automatic in-house movement.

The price on these delicious de Grisogono timepieces range from $17,500 (white) to $10,800 - colors to a $9,400 purple.
